the Location
Introducing you to the Sarai Resort and Spa, a Siem Reap luxury hotel. The hotel is located a little outside the main tourist streets on Siem Reap. However rickshaws are easily accessible to get you around. It takes less then 10 minutes to get to the Pub Street and is very cheap. The hotel also offers a complimentary airport pick up or drop off service. The area feels very safe and has a few restaurants on the same street. The space
The Moroccan-inspired resort is truly stunning. The hotel features a spa, beautiful outdoor pool, and restaurant called Goat Tree. The Sarai outdoor pool really is the heart and soul of the hotel. The design represents the traditional architectural layout used for Moroccan pools where they are situated in a courtyard. It’s the perfect place to hop on a sun lounger and sip cocktails or enjoy some poolside lunch.
The spacious rooms are decorated with elegant and warm colours which makes them feel calm and inviting. The star of the room is definitely the bay window seat which looks out onto the pool. It’s the perfect place to relax.
The Sleep
The king-sized bed is extremely cosy and the linen feels very luxurious. There is a nightly turndown service and the staff leave a sweet treat by your bed. You will be so excited each night to return and find out what has been left.
the food
The stay includes a complimentary breakfast served in the resort’s Goat Tree restaurant. The variety and quality of the breakfast is unbelievable. Breakfast includes pastries, fruit with natural yogurt and then your choice of hot meal including eggs benedict or chicken with rice. The eggs benedict was the best we have ever tasted and the fresh lime juice is to die for. It’s the kind of breakfast you are so excited to wake up to.
