For the perfect autumnal stay, we’d highly recommend Pine Trees Hotel. With its cosy atmosphere and stunning views of the surrounding landscape, it’s the perfect place to unwind. The hotel features stylish rooms that blend traditional decor with modern amenities such as Roberts Radios and Laura Thomas Co Toiletries. For your caffeine fix, breakfast or lunch we would highly recommend Jessie’s. They serve amazing artisan coffee, a range of cakes and lots of lovely food options. Inside the interiors are cool and rustic, and outside they have a lovely covered seating area for when the weather is warm enough. There’s also a cool Vinyl record store right next door that’s worth checking out.

For a beautiful autumn walk, check out Faskally Forest. It’s a stunning spot, especially during autumn when the foliage transforms to shades of gold and Amber. You can choose from two way marked trails which cover Loch Dunmore and the surrounding woodland. If walking from Pitlochry, you can start the woodland trail here, which is just a 20 minute walk from the centre of the town.

If visiting during October be sure to check out the annual Enchanted Forest sound and light show held here after dark. Visitors follow a magical woodland trail, where they can experience a spectacular display of colourful lighting, projections and music.
